Operation Supervisor/Fabricator

We are a busy Granite and Quartz Countertop company, that is looking to expand our team, we take pride in providing beyond expectations in customer service and quality to our customers.

We are based in Chemainus and provide services from Victoria to Parksville.

We are looking for a reliable and responsible individual that would be interested in working towards a career with Bullseye the Granite Guy, as part of our versatile team as an Operation Supervisor/Fabricator.

At Bullseye the Granite Guy we value you and your position, we ensure staff have top of the line tools and supplies to make their job easier including dollies, forklifts, bridge saw, specialty fabricating tools & etc. All the Bullseye Crew work collaboratively to ensure that production and installs go together seamlessly.

As an Operation Supervisor/Fabricator you will have an opportunity to develop your skills and be a part of the production team providing an eye for detail in quality workmanship. You will be involved in decision making, and work in a cooperative environment. You will be a part of the overall exciting customer’s experience with Bullseye the Granite Guy.

Candidates should possess: a minimum of 3 year experience in a fabricating/production type position, have a valid driver’s license, have a professional attitude towards work duties, be well organized, have good communication skills (verbal & written), have solid problem-solving skills is an asset.

Some Duties and Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • All aspects of polishing and finishing quartz and granite countertops.
  • Work directly with the Operation Manager and Office Manager.
  • Over See the production line.
  • Over See the organization.
  • Heavy lifting is required, excess of 100lbs. (This is a physically demanding job)
  • Be familiar with basic tools and equipment.
  • Practice safe work ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail is very important- taking pride in the finished product.
  • Able to work independently and as a team.
  • Meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Good Customer Service Training will be provided to the right candidate; a lot of different skills are easily transferable into this position.

Installer & Fabricator

Description:

Join Bullseye the Granite Guy for a unique opportunity to be cross-trained as a fabricator alongside installations. Based in Chemainus, our service area spans from Victoria to Parksville. We’re seeking a reliable individual to join our versatile team as an installer.

We equip our staff with top-notch tools including dollies, a cube van truck, seaming equipment, forklift, bridge saw, and more. Extra staff is available for heavy lifting on complex installs. Collaboration is key among the Bullseye Crew to ensure seamless installations.

As an installer and fabricator, you’ll hone your skills and contribute to our commitment to quality workmanship. You’ll have a say in decision-making and work in a cooperative environment, enriching the customer experience. Professional development opportunities and a supportive leadership team are part of the package.

We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Those with a professional demeanor, organizational skills, and solid communication and problem-solving abilities are encouraged to apply. We balance hard work with a fun atmosphere, striving for success and meeting deadlines.

Some Duties and Responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • All aspects of installing, polishing and finishing quartz and granite countertops
  • Loading and unloading countertops for the install.
  • Using stone and other tools to complete the install.
  • Completing seams, with specialty tools, in the countertops.
  • Hanging sinks with specialty tools.
  • Securing countertops to cabinets, making sure everything is level, flush and plum.
  • Installing Mitered waterfall gables, doing custom onsite fabrication.
  • Heavy lifting is required, excess of 100lbs. (This is a physically demanding job)
  • Be familiar with basic tools and equipment.
  • Practice safe work ethics.
  • Strong attention to detail is very important- taking pride in the finished product.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.
  • Communicate effectively
  • Meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Keep cube van truck, tool kits and job site organized.
  • Good Customer Service.

The successful candidate must be a strong communicator who is able to quickly foster new relationships as well as maintaining current relationships. You have a thirst for continuous learning and development, always driving to deliver more value and achieve more sales.

Requirements: As an Outside Sales Advisor, you must be self-motivated and driven to exceed goals and expectations. You must also have:

Strong organizational, time-management and prioritization skills as well as solid analytical and problem solving abilities.
An intense hunger for results supported by a demonstrated track record of revenue attainment.
Diligent listening skills to understand prospects needs, quickly assess opportunities and determine the best course of action, even if this means not selling to the homeowner.
A high sense of self-awareness with the ability to adapt and connect with new prospects in their environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills that put the customer at ease and create a comfortable selling conversation.
Being part of home renovation shows in the Spring and Fall.
 
Specific qualifications for the Outside Sales Advisor position include:

Post-secondary education in business OR marketing (an asset)
Minimum three (3) years of business to consumer sales
Proven track record of success
Strong relationship-building skills
Basic PC computer proficiency
Flexibility to work days, some weekend’s (During home renovation show seasons)
Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
Prior experience in stone countertops is not required

Responsibilities: As an Outside Sales Advisor you will have full control of your earning.

This is a commission based opportunity, you are paid for performance.
Your specific duties as an Outside Sales Advisor will include, but not limited to:

Utilizing company furnished leads from traditional marketing and existing customer base, successful candidates will engage new, current and previous customers by providing beyond expectations in our customer service and quality to our customers.
Going out into the field and meeting with potential new clients and businesses to build a relationship and grow new sales.
Providing in house quotes for homeowners.
Conducting follow up calls to ensure 100% satisfaction and generate a referral base
Attaining sales goals at or above quota revenues
